Billboard Dad time, baby!

So we start off by meeting surfer Emily (Mary-Kate Olsen) and diver Tess (Ashley Olsen). Emily and Tess are trying to Hallmark Channel their dad/artist/widower Max (Tom Amandes). In order to do this, Emily and Tess set up a billboard for their dad and Debbie (Ellen Ratner) responds.

Brooke (Jessica Tuck) and Max take a liking to each other. Tess and Emily clash with Ryan (Brooke’s son). Ryan is a skater dude who is too cool for rules, dude. However, in the grand tradition of third-act rom-com misunderstandings, Nigel (Carl Banks) tries to torpedo Brooke and Max. Tess, Emily and skater dude have to create a rom-com happy ending.

Sidebar/Salad Bar: Ellen Ratner seemed like a clone of Bonnie Hunt.
