Despicable Me time, baby! 

 So we start off by meeting Gru (voiced by Steve Carell). Someone beats Gru to the punch on stealing the Great Pyramid of Giza. Gru, Dr. Nefario (voiced by Russell Brand) and the Minions decide to go after the moon. To finance this, Gru goes to Mr. Perkins from the Bank of Evil, and…

However, Mr. Perkins wants Gru to obtain a shrink ray. We then meet Vector (voiced by Jason Segel) and Vector is the one behind the pyramid scheme, and…

Anyway, Gru manages to get the shrink ray; but, Vector beats him to the punch. Gru discovers that Vector gets cookies from Margo (voiced by Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (voiced by Dana Gaier and Agnes (voiced by Elsie Fisher). Margo is the nerd, Edith is the kid who terrifies other kids with tales of Chucky or Pennywise and Agnes is the adorable one. Gru takes the kids in and he gets the shrink ray from Vector. Gru and the girls go to an amusement park and Gru intends to go to the store to get milk; however, in the grand tradition of family movies, Gru and the girls start to have bonding time. Even with the shrink ray, Mr. Perkins is still not impressed. 

Margo, Edith and Agnes and the minions try to help Gru. We find out that Perkins is Vector’s dad and Perkins gives Vector a lecture about the shrink ray. 

Dr. Nefario discovers that there is a scheduling conflict with the Moon scheme and Margo, Edith and Agnes’ ballet recital. So, Nefario sends the girls back to Not-Miss Hannigan Miss Hattie (voiced by Kristen Wiig). Gru gets the moon and he finds out that Vector abducted Margo, Edith and Agnes.

Gru gives the Moon to Vector; however, Vector does not give Gru Margo, Edith and Agnes. Vector tries to get away. Margo, Edith and Agnes are saved and Vector winds up somewhere. Gru Borrowed Hearts Margo, Edith and Agnes. We end with a ballet recital/dance party because of Shrek.

Despicable Me is still a cute family movie.
