Holiday in the Sun time, baby!
So we start off by meeting Madison (Mary-Kate Olsen) and Alex Stewart (Ashley Olsen). Madison and Alex’s parents are taking them to Atlantis Resort (this thing is practically a commercial for the resort). Madison and Alex gripe that they are not going to Hawaii, and…
Madison and Alex? Your parents are taking you on vacation. Be grateful.
Anyway, Alex has a thing for Jordan (Ben Easter). Jordan is employed at the resort. Brianna Wallace (Megan Fox) also has a thing for Jordan.
Madison has a thing for Scott (Billy Aaron Brown). However, Griffen (Austin Nichols) is the Cyrano de Bergerac behind Scott.
Jordan gets involved in a stolen antiquities plot because somebody decided that this movie needed a plot; but, rest assured. Madison, Alex and Griffen prove Jordan’s innocence.
Madison and Griffen wind up together. Alex and Jordan wind up together. We get a next movie tease.
Imagine that someone kidnapped you, made you go on vacation with them and would not let you vacation. That is what this movie is like. It is montage-heavy. The teen characters can be grating. The soundtrack is like a Disney Channel greatest hits CD.
