Does Thor: Love and Thunder hold up?

Anyway, King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) runs New Asgard. Thor learns of Gorr and Gorr is on a kidnap-children mission. We discover that Jane has Thor powers/has become Mighty Thor and Gorr kidnaps children. Thor and company decide to go to Omnipotence City.

We then meet Zeus (Russell Crowe), and…

Let’s be honest. This whole sequence is in the movie for Chris Hemsworth fanservice.

Anyway, Zeus tries to detain Thor and company; but, Thor and company make it to the shadow realm. We then get a Thor vs Gorr fight; however, Valkyrie gets hurt. Gorr is trying to get into Eternity. The kids get superpowers because Marvel is trying to market this movie to kids. Jane is weakened; but, she decides to help Thor.

Gorr wishes for his daughter to be brought back, Jane dies, Gorr dies, Thor adopts Gorr’s daughter and, Hercules, baby!

Thor: Love and Thunder should’ve gone darker on some elements and it is tonally inconsistent; but, it is a good time.
