Is Belle’s Magical World any good?

The Perfect Word

Beast (voiced by Robby Benson) and Belle (voiced by Paige O’Hara) are planning a dinner and Lumiere (voiced by Jerry Orbach) offers tips. Belle runs into dictionary Webster (voiced by Jim Cummings) and she invites him to the dinner. The Beast/Prince Adam shows disregard for his servants and he hits Webster. Webster stages a reconciliation from the Beast to Belle. The Beast finds out about the staged reconciliation, he gets angry, throws Webster out, Belle brings him back and the Beast learns a lesson on forgiveness.

Fifi’s Folly

Lumière practices his romantic dialogue on Belle. Fifi (voiced by Kimmy Robertson) notices this. She thinks that Lumière is cheating on her with Belle, and…

How… how would that even work?

Anyway, after a dangerous event, Lumière tells Fifi that he loves her and things are resolved.

Mrs. Potts’ Party

Mrs. Potts (voiced by Anne Rogers) is depressed. Belle decides to cure her depression by throwing a party, and…

Ah. If only it were so simple.

Anyway, Lumiere and Cogsworth (voiced by David Ogden Stiers) are trying to plan the party; but, they keep fighting. A cake blows up and messes up the kitchen. Lumiere and Cogsworth are able to finish the party and Mrs. Potts feels better (sure…).

The Broken Wing

Belle and the Beast/Prince Adam plan to dine; however, Belle cares for an injured bird and she forgets the dinner plans. The Beast/Prince Adam holds the bird captive. The Beast/Prince Adam eventually lets the bird go and he saves the bird. 

There is an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond where Pat MacDougall kills an injured bird and the MacDougalls and the Barones spend the rest of the episode debating the morality of Pat’s actions and this segment reminded me a lot of that episode.

As others have said, Belle’s Magical World looks like episodes from a scrapped Beauty and the Beast TV show. The episodes have funny moments; however, they are time wasters and investment is low.
