Raise Your Voice was released when I was aging out of my Hilary Duff phase. I saw it when it came out; but, is it any good?

Let’s find out:

 Raise Your Voice is about Terri Fletcher (Hilary Duff). Terri loses her brother Paul Fletcher (Jason Ritter) in a car accident and she goes to performing arts school.

We also get the typical rom-com cliché where the main character (Terri) sees her love interest (Jay Corgan (Oliver James)) kiss their ex (Robin Childers (Lauren Mayhew)); however, the main character does not stick around to see their love interest push the ex away.

Raise Your Voice is your average tween movie. Honestly? It kind of bores me now.
